Operation Santa is a charity event hosted by the US Postal Service. Every year, children write letters to Santa Clause asking for toys and other Christmas gifts. The USPS collects these letters, de-identifies them, and posts them for public adoption. Volunteers adopt these letters, fulfill the requests (or parts of the request), packages the items, and returns them to a qualifying post office. Addresses are handled by the USPS. Volunteers never learn the address of the children, and the children believe the package is from Santa.
See you all next Fall!
